Though St. Andrews is well preserved for an historical town, much has been lost through fire and simple town improvment. This section has a look at the various buildings and places that either are still with us or have gone over to the other side. There is some overlap with other sections of this site, and of course just what is historical or not is a matter of opinion, and of an opinion that changes with time. What is historical now was not necessarily then, and what is not now may be some day. If you can think of something I've missed, I could probably dig up some information on the subject.
